AvaTrade is a reputable online broker specialising in CFDs on commodities, cryptocurrencies, stocks, indices and more. It was founded in 2006, under the name Ava FX, by Emanuel Kronitz, Negev Nosatzki and Clal Finance. Today, its head office is in Dublin and it has regional centres in Paris, Milan, Sydney and Tokyo with a total head count of 400 staff. Account Base Currency

When you open an account with AvaTrade, you will have the option of choosing between USD and EUR as your base currency. Additionally, if you’re based in Australia, you can select an account in AUD and if you’re based in the UK you can select an account in GBP.

How long will it take for my deposit to show on AvaTrade?

If you make the deposit over credit card, it’s instant. Deposits via e-wallets take 24 hours to show in your account. Wire transfers are the slowest, taking up to 7 business days.

Are there any limitations on how I withdraw money?

Amounts up to 200% of your deposit must be withdrawn to your debit or credit card. Any funds above that can be withdrawn via other methods provided the receiving account is your name.

AvaTrade Account Types Review

You can easily open an AvaTrade account online. All you need is an email address or, alternatively, you can use your Facebook or Google account. Then you get two options: you can either try out the platform using play money with a demo account or you can start trading directly with a real account.
There is an additional verification process. In order to prove your ID, you will need to upload a copy of your passport, ID card, driver’s licence or any other document that contains your name, photo and date of birth. As proof of address, you will need to upload a recent utility bill or official municipality document or an affidavit signed by the Police and a Commissioner of Oath.
